1 package (12 ounces) PICS wide egg noodles
2 tablespoons PICS unsalted butter
9 slices PICS thick-cut bacon, chopped
1 small white onion, halved and chopped
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 small head cabbage, halved and shredded
1/2 teaspoon PICS coarse kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon PICS ground black pepper
1/2 cup PICS grated Parmesan cheese
PICS crushed red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)

1.Prepare egg noodles as label directs; drain, return to saucepot and stir in butter. Cover to keep warm. Makes about 6 cups noodles.

2.In large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally; with slotted spoon, transfer to paper towel-lined plate. Makes about 1-1/2 cups bacon.

3.In same skillet with drippings, cook onion over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add garlic, cabbage, salt and black pepper; cook 2 minutes or until garlic is fragrant and cabbage is wilted, stirring frequently. Add onion mixture and bacon to noodles; stir. Makes about 10 cups noodles.

4.Serve noodles sprinkled with cheese garnished with crushed red pepper, if desired.
