1/2cup PICS Light Brown Sugar
1/3cup PICS Chopped Walnuts
1/2cup plus 2 tablespoons PICS Unsalted Butter, 1/2 cup cold, cut into 1/2-inch pieces, 2 tablespoons softened
2cups PICS All-Purpose Flour plus additional for dusting
1/4teaspoon PICS Salt
2/3cupPICS Sour Cream
6medium Granny Smith or McIntosh apples, peeled and cored

1.Preheat oven to 400°. Line rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. In medium bowl, stir brown sugar, walnuts and 2 tablespoons softened butter.

2.In large bowl, whisk flour and salt. With fingertips or pastry blender, cut in remaining 1/2 cup cold butter until pea-sized crumbs form; stir in sour cream until mixture forms a ball.

3.On floured dusted work surface, roll dough into 12 x 18-inch rectangle; cut into 6 (6-inch) squares. Place 1 apple in center of each square; fill apples with brown sugar mixture. Fold corners of dough up and around apples, pinching seams to seal; place dumplings, seam side down, on prepared pan.

4.Brush dumplings with milk; sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake 45 minutes or until apples are tender and outside is golden brown.
